FIND YOUR STRENGTH IN GOD!

Dear Lovelies,
If you are a Christian, then,
WE ARE CALLED TO NOT REACT NATURALLY,
BUT SUPERNATURALLY NATURAL,
AND NATURALLY SUPERNATURAL!
For example, when pain suddenly erupts out of no where, it is so easy and natural to question God’s love, but as Christians we are called to
A HIGHER PLAIN OF LIFE.
Not to react naturally but rather supernaturally,
because when we close our eyes and think about God’s unfailing love, the presence of the Holy Spirit shows up with his gift of
PEACE, COMFORT, HEALING, STRENGTH AND GUIDANCE,
which sustains us and empowers us, and heals us, and manifests his real and physical comfort and peace; therefore, we can live another moment, another day, knowing that, even though around us, the tempest still rages,
UNDERNEATH US ARE HIS EVERLASTING ARMS OF LOVE.
When suddenly life turns for the worse and it feels like a direct attack where God has left us completely exposed and forlorn, we naturally say to God,
“WHY ME, WHAT ARE YOU DOING, DEAR GOD, WHERE IS YOUR LOVE, HELLO, ARE YOU STILL THERE?”
Just as Psalm 35:12 says,
“My soul is bereft.”
That word “bereft” can also be translated as “forlorn”.
Psalm 35:12 in the New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition says,
“They repay me evil for good; my soul is forlorn.”
The New International Readers Version says,
“They pay me back with evil, even though I was good to them. They leave me like someone who has lost a family member.”
Another Version says,
“They repay me evil for good and leave me like one bereaved.” (NIV)
Do you ever feel forlorn or bereft or bereaved of a family member?
But when we still our cries, and focus on
HIS UNFAILING LOVE
we hear the Spirit speak through the storm
TELLING US TO TRUST HIS LOVE ANEW,
AND LET HIS SPIRIT AND PRESENCE SHOW US AND COMFORT US
AND
GUIDE US TO
A HIGHER AND A MORE SOLID GROUND OF PEACE.
So I implore you,
Be like David who, when he was attacked and even his wives and children were kidnapped,
HE WENT TO GOD, AND THE SCRIPTURE SAYS,
HE STRENGTHENED HIMSELF IN THE LORD,
AND THE LORD GUIDED HIM TO HIS RESCUE PLAN, BUT MOST OF ALL GAVE HIM HIS PRESENCE OF PEACE.
As 1 Samuel 30:6 says,
“David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God.”
THAT’S WHY WE ALWAYS NEED TO
GO TO GOD
TO FIND NEW STRENGTH,
TO CULTIVATE AND PRACTICE LISTENING TO THE HOLY SPIRIT’S STILL, SMALL VOICE.
AND COMMUNE HOURLY WITH THE SWEET, SPIRIT OF GOD,
WITH A WORSHIPFUL AND INTENTIONAL RECEPTIVE, LISTENING SPIRIT,
YOUR spirit LISTENING TO HIS SPIRIT.
LET’S GO TO GOD TODAY AND FINDHIS PRESENCE OF PERFECT LOVE,
STRENGTHENING US,
AND GIVING US HIS PERFECT PEACE.
